INCREDIBLE INDIA ............... as always what a journey. So much celebration, colour, life, spirit, craziness and beauty everyday. Look at the sweet picture of me and my new Tibetan "daughter". We had such an immediate strong connection, very special. The festival was very beautiful , powerful and full of great yogis, energy and joy. Next year let us go together!
A few reminders and updates: I'm off to New Zealand on Saturday evening with my family for spring break and to see son #3 who studies in NZ........yeah!!! Then to Singapore to teach for a few days followed by Bali for the BAli Spirit Festival...........not too late to join!!!
Will return on April 7th, will send out info on classes while I'm travelling.
Last Saturday we expereinced the 3rd Chakra Journey and as always I want to thank those of you who attended for putting in so much energy and heart felt enthusiasm. Together we all create these beautiful and transformational expereinces.....thankyou thankyouthankyou!!!

Spring has sprung!!! Celebrating and observing the change of seasons is such a joy. Everything has cycles, keeps flowing, changing, expanding , contracting...........we can learn so much about ourselves by watching and participating in nature. So my friends, get outside, take a walk, dance in the sun, dig in the dirt and if you dare......even hug a tree!!!

Off to Rishikesh tomorrow morn for the International Yoga Festival. Will be so wonderful seeing some of my teachers and reuniting with friends and fellow yogis on this amazing journey we call Life.

I will return on the 8th of MArch and classes will resume the evening of the 9th.

O MY GODDESS................what a Divine time we all had!!!

This glorious picture on the left was taken during the big snowstorm last week in Tokyo in my back garden. Was sooooooo magical!!

I'm off to Rishikesh India on Feb.26th. Rishikesh is the "hometown "of yoga and meditation. Will be attending the International Yoga Festival.

A WINTER WONDERLAND

It was such a treat being in and seeing so much snow...................I think it's been 15 years since I was last in so much snow. These photos were taken in Nigata at Mt. Naeba. As I was watching the snow fall, which it did for 72 hours non-stop I had this wonderful thought...........OK I'll share it:):):)

Dear Friends...........wanted to introduce you to and share my beautiful "tribe" with you! These are my fabulous four sons (husband in the middle) oh.....and he is also fabulous :) :) :)


Just a quick update on some classes and upcoming events to share.
This Wednesday I'm taking my sons skiing so there will only be two classes this week.

I would like to share our first Chakra Journey for 2010 on the 23rd of January from 10am-12pm. We will be energizing and experiencing our 8th Chakra. The electromagnetic energy field around our bodies, our Auras!!! It will be a very beautiful experience and a powerful way to begin our New Year, with a radiance and inner glow that surrounds us!

Dearest Friends.........a very blissful and warm hello to you from beautiful Bali!!! So much has happened the past 21/2 weeks since I've been traveling. I feel I've been out of Tokyo for at least a month. I had a very powerful and amazing fast in Koh Samui. I'm in awe of how quickly fasting helps us to regain our health, balance and well being. I highly recommend fasting, at least once a year. Maybe next time we will all go as a group together!

Then had a very special time in Singapore, teaching, seeing my old students and friends and revisiting places I had often gone to during my ten years living there.

And now I'm in beautiful, blissful Bali. Such a special, sacred, artistic and unique place. It's such an honour to go to a country which blends their spiritual life with their everyday life in such a open, honest and heartfelt way. I always feel very re-energized after I have been here.

SO now my friends I want to take this time to wish and pray that this New Year of 2010 will bring to all of us, to our families, friends and Mother Earth so much Joy, Love , Harmony and true inner Peace. May you each remember and experience your perfection and reconnect with your Highest Self...........

I have missed you all and look so forward to sharing, being together in community and creating sacred spaces together in 2010. Our next class together will be at my home on: Wednesday the 6th at 7:30 pm Thursday the 8th at 2pm. I will post more info soon about others classes etc.

Dear Friends.........today I was gratefully meandering in Yoyogi Koen in awe of the beauty of the fall colours. Yes it is my favourite season so I am so happy to live in a place where we can fully enjoy the intense beauty! Hope you make time for nature's perfect artwork!!!

A few updates and reminders for December. Amazing it is already December!!!!
Tomorrow evening at 7pm. The Conscious Club will gather, break bread together and chant with Daphne.....will be wonderful!!! Kindly remember to bring a plate of food and a donation which helps support an amazing orphange for Tibetan children. Feel free to bring your friends..........scroll down for more details.

YOGA CLASSES FOR DECEMBER: Thursday the 3rd at 2pm: Monday the 7th at 10am: Tuesday the 8th at 7:30 pm.........and that's it until 2010!!!

I will be travelling for almost one month, leaving Tokyo on the 10th of December and returning on the 5th of January. I am so grateful for my upcoming journeys. I will be going to an amazing place in Koh Samui Thailand called " Dharma Healing International" for an 8 day fast. This ole body and mind really need it!!! Then off to Singapore to teach and see many friends from my 10 years of living in Singapore before I moved here to Tokyo.... and finally off to blissful Bali to see in the New Year.

I would like to thank you all for being so welcoming, warm and wonderful, making me feel like Tokyo really is my "home" now!!! I am grateful to each and every one of you!!!!

May this New Year bring the Truth of who we are to each one of us fully. May this New Year bring us into the energy of our hearts so that we may live with more compassion to ourselves and each other. And may this New Year bring Peace to all, Light to all and Love to all.....................
