Feeling truly so much lighter, de-lighted, even a bit en-lightened after fasting for 5 days in Izu. There's so much to be said for allowing your insides to let go and really rest!

These are a few of the photos I took in beautiful Izu Kogen. Very dramatic landscapes with huge craggy rich brown cliffs, gorgeous water in many shades of blue and turquoise, sunshine, Mother Earth at some of her very best!

....and next week my friends, yours truly is going to Izu for one week(13-19) to fast and detox. This body and mind is so very ready for that powerful experience If you have never fasted I highly recommend it. This will be my 3rd time and each time I am in awe and amazed at the benefits and quick fixes that fasting offers!!! Your body not only begins to cleanse and release the toxins but your mind truly gets sharper, more aware, you feel lighter, brighter and more connected to all that is around you. It also leads one to greater appreciation for things we so often take for granted like water and our food.
